EXCLUSIVE: Rani Mukerji reunites with Shah Rukh Khan on King; Filming begins on May 20

Siddharth Anand has assembled a strong cast for King, including Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone, Abhishek Bachchan, Anil Kapoor, Suhana Khan, Jackie Shroff, Arshad Warsi, and Abhay Verma. The film will be produced by Red Chillies and Marflix and marks Suhana Khan’s big-screen debut.

Rani Mukerji has joined the cast for an extended cameo as Suhana Khan’s mother, playing a crucial role in the action-thriller. Having worked with Shah Rukh Khan before, she agreed to join the project immediately.

King, featuring Shah Rukh Khan as an assassin and Abhishek Bachchan, will begin filming in Mumbai on May 20, followed by a European schedule. The film is slated for release between October and December 2026
