Microsoft 365: How to set company wallpaper using Intune to devices

by VICKY July 19, 2023 0 Comment

How to set company wallpaper using Intune to all computers:

  1. Go to the Microsoft Endpoint Manager admin center.
  2. Select Devices > Configuration profiles.
  3. Click Create profile.
  4. In the Profile type section, select Device configuration.
  5. In the Template name section, enter a name for the profile.
  6. In the Profile settings section, expand Personalization and then select Desktop wallpaper.
  7. In the Desktop background picture URL field, enter the URL of the wallpaper image that you want to use.
  8. Select the Required option to require users to use the company wallpaper.
  9. Click Next.
  10. In the Assignments section, select the devices or users that you want to assign the policy to.
  11. Click Next.
  12. In the Review + create section, review the settings and then click Create.

The policy will be created and assigned to the selected devices or users. The next time the devices check in with Intune, the company wallpaper will be set.

Here are some additional things to keep in mind:

  • The wallpaper image must be a PNG or JPEG file.
  • The image must be less than 10 MB in size.
  • The image must be publicly accessible.
  • If you are assigning the policy to a group of users, the users must be logged in to their devices for the wallpaper to be set.
